Election of the Men's Captain and Vice-Captain

The procedure for electing the Men's Vice-Captain (Captain designate) begins in January. All current adult male members who have been a member for the previous two years are eligible to be nominated for the post of Men's Vice-Captain.

Adult male members who have been members for two years are invited to approach an eligible member, who they consider suitable, and enquire whether he would consider being proposed for the post of Men's Vice-Captain.

Nomination forms are available from the Secretary or can be downloaded (in Adobe pdf format) by clicking here. The completed form should be returned to the Secretary before 31st May.

The duties of the Vice-Captain and Captain are outlined below. A more detailed information pack will be sent to all applicants who are nominated.

All nominees will meet separately with the Selection Committee to discuss the role and the commitment required.

The most suitable candidate will be recommended to the Management Committee and, if accepted, will be proposed for election at the AGM.
